About

Emily is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice in Rochester, NY.

She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and has received additional training in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE Therapy), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), ADHD (she is a Certified ADHD Professional ADHD-CCSP), mindfulness in education, parenting and motivation.   Emily currently offers individual therapy for all ages, with a special focus on parenting and life transitions.  Prior to her career in Mental Health Counseling, Emily was a School Counselor for over 7 years at the high school and elementary levels and has her Permanently Certification as a Professional School Counselor in NYS.  She is licensed to practice counseling in NYS and Ohio.

Emily earned her Masters Degree in School Counseling from Loyola College (now University) in Maryland and a Certificate in Advanced Studies in Mental Health Counseling in 2020 from SUNY Brockport.  She has an additional Masters degree in Education Policy and Leadership from the University of Maryland.  Emily majored in Cultural Anthropology with a Psychology concentration at the University of Pittsburgh.

In her free time Emily enjoys hiking, art, and exploring the world with her husband and two sons.
